Last week, we had a fantastic time at Game Days 2024 in our hometown of Košice, an event all about celebrating and advancing the gaming community. It was a fantastic opportunity to meet our local partners, friends and follow the enthusiasm of game makers from our community presenting their work to the public. As a company focused on mobile gaming, we’re excited to be part of the local gaming scene, even though this event primarily highlighted PC games. Here at TuuT we strongly believe that by collaborating and sharing knowledge across platforms, we can strengthen our domestic gaming industry and help to make our local IT valley stronger and more competitive globally.

The organisers managed to bring a group of strong speakers to the event and all of the workshops and lectures were very inspiring. One of the standout moments in the light of our own ambitions was a really useful seminar led by Aleksandar Gavrilovic titled “Creative Europe: Development of Videogames.” He discussed a generous funding opportunity for studios, and his tips were a goldmine for us as we plan to apply for these funds to support our upcoming project.

Similarly, we enjoyed a presentation by the Slovak Arts Council that focused on a program designed to support digital game creation and educational events. This fits perfectly with our future plans, and we’re excited to apply for that support as well!

A big shoutout to our friends from Game Dev, Grindstone and Slovak Game Developers Association for organising such an impactful event. We’re thrilled to be contributing to the thriving gaming landscape in Košice, and we can’t wait to see what’s next!
